How to Heat A Room With Candles 1

I think I’m going sledding this weekend. Or maybe ice skating. I love outdoor activities like that but cold and snow are only good in small doses; then I want to be warm again! I turned my heater up an hour and a half ago and it has only bumped up two degrees. Unacceptable! I need heat now. Here is a DIY indoor space heater that will keep you warm and toasty and not break the bank from the spendy power bill. It’s quiet and affordable and will get you warm in no time! This is going to sound crazy…but all you need for this project are two terracotta flower pots, some candles, and a bolt with nuts and washers. This heater gets up to 160-180 F in about 20 minutes and stays hot for hours. (The inside of the pots is molten lava hot so watch your fingers.) I think it’s a good idea to stay clear of carpet and other flammable materials. This would perfect for a power outage of to have in the car in case of emergencies. I think this would be a great way to heat up the patio too. You could put an oven rack on top and have the perfect little makeshift stove! Brilliant. Bankrate has some other idea on how to stay warm and save money on your utility bills… Here’s the video…Enjoy!
