Long before the days of air poppers and microwaves this was the way popcorn was made. It’s nice to get away from those harmful rays once in a while and use the stove top. Be sure and try this method for your next family movie night! This is how we did it when I was a kiddo! I didn’t grow up with a microwave and my parents still don’t have one. Instead of a pot we used a wok. That allowed us to turn it to get the oil distributed evenly and not hurt our hands since most have a wooden handle. A pot with a clear lid would be awesome if you don’t have a walk. Then you could see it popping! I highly recommend this method if you are a caramel corn fan. There are no unpopped kernels and it super fresh! Once you pop your corn, head on over to Health for some fun and ‘healthy’ flavored popcorn recipes. Here’s the video… Enjoy!
